Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_16-b01) (Sun Java)

Java is simply not running in Chrome, although it runs fine in Fx regardless of whether I have a normal JRE installed. The only fixes I found for Chrome-Java issues are from when update 10 was beta, and support for WebKit was the crucial factor. Does anyone have an idea what's wrong in my case?
