ok so im using the dev channel and after the latest update to 5.0.307.2
i started getting a pop dialogue box spitting "could not create directory for unzipping" everytime i tried to swditch a theme. i did a bit of troubleshooting and found it was only doing this after the update. i have since searched around and found this http://codereview.chromium.org/257061 which seems to take care of the problem.. the only thing is im a n00b and dont kno what to do with this information. download the fix is pretty self explanatory, but where do i put the file? would someone be able to point me in the right direction?

By the last comment in the bug report it sounds like that change wasn't committed, nor did it work. To use it you'd have to rebuild Chrome from source anyway.. However by the rest of the thread it looks like the problem was elsewhere and they fixed it. Do you have 5.0.307.5 now? It probably works with that update, if not I guess you'll have to wait for the next one. :S
