Hi, I'm using Windows7 and I have a Canoscan 5600F scanner. When I press the email button on the scanner, the scan proceeds but eventually I get an error message from the scanner software (MP Navigator EX) "Failed to send e-mail. Check your mail program settings and try again".

If I right click on a photo in Windows Explorer, and choose to send the photo to an e-mail recipient, I get this message:

"There is no e-mail program associated to perform the requested action. Please install an e-mail program or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Programs control panel."

If I go into Control Panel, Default Programs, I find that the MAILTO protocol is set to Thunderbird (which is not installed) and when I attempt to change it, Only Windows Live Mail is available.

If anyone can help me to get Chrome working properly, I shall be very grateful.
