I notice Chrome uses a different process in task manager for each open tab. Is there any way to make it use a single process?

I switched to Chrome for a browser that used less memory and although it beats Fx with a single process/tab open, once I get to about 10 Fx does better.

same here, I note that it freezes the computer sometimes, or when close Chrome, there's some process still active in the TM... If I don't verify, I can't shut down the computer.

However, don't you think that it kind of defeats the whole point of Chrome?
