From what I've read they are saved on your system in an encrypted database that cannot be transferred (as a security feature). Take a read here: http://www.switchonthecode.com/tutor...ores-passwords

You got me curious, so I've been poking around. I moved the "Web Data" folder located in C:\Users\<users>\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default to a separate location and reloaded Chrome. It does appear to contain all of my saved passwords. However if I copy that file to another computer and load up chrome, it only remembers my usernames and not my passwords. I assume this is do to the encryption method used.

    thanks

going to try to copy Web Data to Iron and see how it goes

    EDIT

    it's working :-)

    I copied Web Data from
    C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default to
    C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Desktop\IronPortable\Profile\Default

Both username and password are auto filled

Sulasno: you might have a look at this:

ChromePass is a small password recovery tool that allows you to view the user names and passwords stored by Google Chrome Web browser. For each password entry, the following information is displayed: Origin URL, Action URL, User Name Field, Password Field, User Name, Password, and Created Time.
