    Default Privoxy on linux

I use Linux and privoxy. Somehow, Chrome seems to ignore privoxy, even though my settings are system wide (or I believe so) through KDE system setting > network settings > proxy.
Options > Under the Hood > Change Proxy Settings doesn't work for the time being.
    Any suggestion?

Old thread... but w/e, didn't see any other helpful links from google.

Same behavior for me (gentoo x64, kde 4 base/ openbox wm).

you need to export http_proxy in bashrc/whatever. KDE control doesn't do the job with chrome.

It also works great on Windows and Chrome right out of the box....
