I've found that refreshing a page doesn't work well in Chrome.

I used to let some forum page at middle (for example), and when refreshing, the page returns at the top, not where I let it.

(Have done a forum search with no result...)

I just tested this and after the page finished refreshing, it scrolled automatically back to where i was..


What version of Chrome are you using ?

Are you using extensions ?

Are you refreshing with the 'Go' button or with the 'Refresh' button?

I just realized that if you use the Go button, it won't scroll back to where it was.

I just tested this (using both F5 and the refresh button) and both times it only scrolled back to the bottom of the page I was on 7 out of 10 times.

You are right !
There seems to be some kind of random factor .. at least on this forum

I just realized that if you use the Go button, it won't scroll back to where it was.

Go button can't scroll, it's just like a link to the page, it can't know where it must be in the page.
I used F5 or Refresh button, no way, it doesn't work, @ 100%.

Can you try without any extensions ?

Simply create a new shortcut without " --enable-extensions ".
