I have been using Chrome since a long time ago either at work as at home. When I first installed it at work Ė a company Ė there were no problems at all. It installed perfectly.

Last week I noticed that I had version 4 and it didnít update. I decided to uninstall it through add/remove (even without administrator rights) and tried to install the new version. Impossible task. I tried all the possible ways, even downloading the whole Chrome to my hard disk and starting installing from there. Impossible.

Going to registry there arenít any entries from Chrome there. However there was a file left in my computer saying some files could not be uninstalled conveniently. Name of the file left in my hard disk:
Example of what it says:
[0803/120333:ERROR:uninstall.cc(280)] Failed to delete registry key: Software\Clients\StartMenuInternet\Google Chrome
[0803/120333:ERROR:uninstall.cc(280)] Failed to delete registry key: Software\Clients\StartMenuInternet\chrome.exe
[0803/120333:ERROR:uninstall.cc(280)] Failed to delete registry key: Software\Classes\Applications\chrome.exe

I was told it must be because of the company proxy, even if when I first installed it there was already this proxy.

Can you tell me if there is any way of by passing the administrator rights and install Chrome again?

Thanks a lot in advance for any help.
