Hello people, I am having some issues, which I imagine are simple, with chrome but as a new chrome user I am not entirely familiar with the browser.

Issue 1:
-Some content does not show - For instance I can't watch anything in Megavideo as the page doesn't load properly:

-Another example of this is on this site. In order to search posts or register I need to use image verification. On chrome the area where the captcha content should appear is completely blank! In fact I had to use firefox just to register and post!


Issue 2:
I can't download certain files - for instance to download pdfs if i click the link it brings me to google docs where there is no save choice. I need to right click and choose download for pdfs and that works. However for .doc if i right click and download then it brings me to the page for the file and nothing happens, eg:

http://www.***.com/***/file.doc (Blank Page)

If I alt-click it downloads a viewer.html file that is the frame for google docs...


I am running Mac OS X 10.6.6 fully updated. I have tried installing the newest adobe flash player, shockwave and java. My only plugin is adblocker which I have tried turning off and this changes nothing.

Please help me as I love chrome and the speed it goes at and I don't want to go back to slow old mozilla!!

clear chrome cache and cookies ..that should do it

to do so

go to settings-options-under the hood-clear browsing data-tick clear cookies and cache

Ok so I followed your instructions and cleared everything - no luck issue is still present

hmm ....which other sites are affected by this issue ?
