Hey I just want to know how to get that sad puzzle face as my avatar for various forums. I'm not sure if it's strictly copyrighted or anything. Is there any kind of screenshot program I can use to capture that image? A smiley puzzle face right next to it would make some cool drama clowns! BTW I usually get the shockwave flash plugin crash when the website wants to play videos one after another automatically. Windows XP with google chrome 3.0.195.38
* Uninstall the Adobe Flash Player Active X and Plug in and
then reinstall it.
* Use Flash Player 9 if your Flash Player 10 is not working
fine.
* Do fix your sound drivers:
1) Open Device Manager
2) Look for the sound-card device
3) Note down the name for that device
4) Just uninstall the it.
5) After uninstalling restart your machine.
6) Your Windows 7 or Windows Vista would automatically
download and reinstall the sound driver. You can also do it
manually through approaching the sound card company's web
site.
* Fix your Windows Registry which is a highly recommended
thing you should do to find a quick and reliable fix for common
PC errors and crashes
(RegInOut Registry Cleaner is quite helpful to fix crashes in
computer).
I still have this problem so we don't all know about a fix apparently
ver 5.0.342.9 beta windows xp
The best way, that I have found so far, was to go to your system properties, device manager, find your sound card manufaturer, and download the newest driver for your card.
It is the audio part of Flash, that causes Shockwave to crash, in whatever browser that is using Shockwave (whether it is Chrome, or IE).
ive got this problem when loading pages.error404 site not published.. probably something went wrong trying to open a free web site on weebly.com..now google chrome doesnt load any page..plz email me at tjetakokerr@hotmail.com
I've been struggling with this issue and ran across a discussion on the Adobe forum in which someone who seemed rather brilliant said to check security setting and put it to Medium. I checked mine, which was on Medium-High and switched it to Medium and voila! I am watching my video which formerly caused huge crash.
Probably won't help everyone, but worth one step in the process. Who knows, I may be back here again with the problem but for now, I'm happy.
I am using Ubuntu 10.10 Meerkat and Chrome 8.0.552.224
Developing software that obviously needs testing on every browser.
Chrome gives me an error message 20~ times a day that Flash has crashed.
Click OK on the message and it keeps on trucking MOST of the time.
About 10% of the time the browser become unresponsive and a Force Quit is asked, answered OK, and the browser closes.
However, Chrome is leaving zombies (lots of them) lying around.
Checked the logs and can't see any errors.
Lookink at /opt/chrome it is root:root 751
and drilling down, verything is owned root:root and a mixture of 751 711
Is this constant chrashing perhaps a permissions problem?
Anyone else heard of it? My Ubuntu is pretty vanilla.
Cheers
