Weird. Here it's two files:

• BookmarkSyncSettings.sqlite3 (16 KB)
• XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.sqlite3 (11.9 MB)

Not that I'm running out of space but even when it's saving thumbnails... 12 MB doesn't make sense. OK, depends what the definition of a thumbnail is

even with the contents encrypted, the file shouldn't exceed 1Mb :-)

As you know I'm not a 'teckie' but I think a SQLITE3 is a database file of some kind (dare say someone will put me right!)

Mine is just over 2Mb (2 files) for 750+ bookmarks ...

Just looking at the date and times against the files I have, I'm assuming the first file is the original (first sync), that's about the time last night I was reinstalling my Chrome and the second is the time I signed on this morning ...

Space wise I guess this isn't too bad (but who am I to say) ;-)

I use sqlitebrowser-1.3-win to peep at the files and couldn't find anything of interest;

interesting though that you have 3 files in the folder

It may well be because I reinstalled my Chrome, as I said the date and time of the first file is about the time I was reinstalling Chrome last night ...

The time on the second one changes dynamically as you add new bookmarks (I now 'cos I checked it) and if you use 'sync my bookmarks' you will see it says 'Last synced: Just now'

I downloaded SQLlite 1.3 to browse the file... and was shocked. 7738 entries in the metas table.

Actually, I have around 50 (maybe less) real bookmarks. Maybe, just maybe, it’s having some troubles with GBX?!

Gonna remove GBX for some tests... but it was a nice-to-have-extension
