Back on topic :

Anyone actually tried Firefox 3.5 ?
Numbers are one thing.. but forum member impressions are better imho !

Well, I did.. Last time I used Firefox, it was V 2.0 . So I'm comparing to Chrome, not to Firefox 3.

Things I didn't like

- Initial opening time is very slow (About 5 seconds)
- Loading site to site is a little slower than Chrome (to my taste)
- Tabs aren't dynamic (of course not)
- There isn't any Most-Visited page
- The browser isn't integrated into Vista/7 (I think theres a skin for that though)


Things I liked

- The icons beside the menu options (File, Edit, View,..)
- The options (Lots more options and they have some icons beside them )
- The addons & themes management dialog box
- The theme-able parts of the browser (You can edit the look of tabs, dialog boxes, menu icons, scrollbar,..)

I think that the things I said I liked should be added to Chrome..
The only thing that I think won't be available to us in the future is the ability to theme more parts of Chrome because they are starting to use .crx themes which lets us customize even less things we could in the .dll, and even that was not much compared to Firefox.

Anyways, that's just my opinion..

The one thing I've disliked about FireFox through it's various stages has been the initial load time. If it's only 5 seconds now that's a lot better than what I've seen in the past.
