i've download some swf games and have used screen capture software to record the process while playing, but the video output format can not be set as mpeg -4 which is compatible with most of the sharing site. so is there anyone can give me some advice ?

Convert whatever the output is with a video converter like SUPER.

Also a swf to mpeg converter probably won't do well for a game, unless it records to mpeg as you play it.

Flash To Video Encoder is the best IMO 4 this purpose!

Here is a step-by-step tutorial about how to convert SWF to MPEG on Mac. The tool mentioned also has a windows version. You can pick one according to your need.Hope it helps.
