I finally did it..

I have been talking about it for a while now.. but now I finally went through. I bough the 13 inch Macbook Pro [ http://www.apple.com/macbookpro/ ]

Can't wait to receive it !

Any Mac owners out there ? I've never owned one.. and I can't say I've messed around with MacOSX a lot..

I've never owned a REAL Mac (always hackintosh) but spend quite a lot of time on them with work. If you have any questions post em up.

Just don't ask me anything about terminal. I fail miserably there.

Terminal is actually one of the selling points for me

I've been using Linux quite a lot at work, so I'm slowly getting the hang of it.
Windows' console is frustrating and not very powerful.

You'll enjoy the speed dial on it, really cool :-)

Hey guys ! I'm writing this from Chrome inside my brand new Macbook Pro !

I'm really happy with my purchase. Chrome is extremely sexy in OS X, I just hope they can have a stable release before the end of the summer ! Safari is cool.. but I really miss my superb Chrome Tabs !

I might actually be getting one soon. Another HDD went out in my old beat-up rig and I'm gettin' tired of replacing IDE drives. I told my wife I might need to just replace the computer and she said "Why don't you get one of those Macs you've been wanting?"

I needed a small and light computer that I could carry around and code on. My other laptop was rather massive.

My friends have been using Macs and loved it. Plus I get access to the IPhone and IPod touch SDK.

MacOSX is also very 'geek' friendly. You get access to the unix console, multiple desktops, underlying config files.. lots of good stuff
