An extension that acts as a switch to enable/disable extensions with an option to select the extensions installed

Cant be done, not with an extension anyways.
That sounds more like a feature request (for chrome). Do you really want extensions to have the power to turn off other extensions?
Personally I wish this was in the extensions page (as Ive needed it myself) and would like it to remember which extensions I allready had enabled/disabled as I have alot of extensions that are disabled at any one time. And while were at it Id like the option to disable all/some extensions for certain sites.

You can disable extensions manually in the extensions page (for Dev Chrome at least);

disable extensions for certain sites seem like a good idea; a matter of white and black list I suppose

Yeah, but I have to manually select each and every one of them and then when I turn them back on I have to skip the ones I have disabled by default.....its so annoying

incogneto mode disables all extensions btw

I am new to chrome extensions. I am looking for any tutorial or article to create a simple extension. I can able to create a extension and packaging. What i want to do is if i click the my extension icon it should open a webpage(inbuilt with my extension) in new tab. NOT POPUP. Can you please help me experts.
