Cool Hot to disable address bar?

Hello there!

I created some extensions but ran into some weird problems:

I want the user to click on a button and then a new window should open. No problem so far (some JS function.. open blabla)... I was trying to set a fixed width (seems to work), made it resizable (works) and want to disable the location or address bar. No idea what the correct name is...

I was using "menubar=0,location=0" but Chrome ignores the JS parameters :| I can still see the address in the new window (at least i cannot change it)... but still I want to save as much screen space as possible. Any ideas?

Thank you

You can't remove them. Like you mentioned, Chrome ignores those parameters. :/

Why would anyone want to disable the address bar ?

@Waha

Could we get CG to open a new window instead of a tab ?

Space constraints in your pop-up windows.

Keep it in the CG thread, and also be more specific. ;P
