    Default Package not being installed

I'm sorry if this already have been posted, but I did search and nothing was found.

I'm doing my first extension here, a Lorem Ipsum Generator, and right now trying to package it to post in forums.

I did follow the simple procedure showed at the dev docs, however when I try to install that package I receive an error:

Could not install extension from <dir_crx> Extensions are not enabled. Add --enable-extensions blablabla...

But I have this parameter on my Chrome shortcut... That's so true that I have extensions running. When I try to install the CRX from Sticky Notes, for example, it works like a charm... However with my package it doesn't work... Never

I really appreciate any advice on this.

    Thanks.

EDIT: It seems its working now, when I drag and drop it... I wonder why Waha extensions don't need to drag'n'drop to work the installation? With his extensions, i'm able to just double click on the CRX and boom, pops up an alert for installing it. That's magic or how is it done?

SOLVED -> It seems when downloading it from a website it fixes that. The only problem is when it's local (?).

is installing extensions a guessing game?

to be safe, I download the extension with a 3rd party application to the Desktop; and then drag and drop it to Chrome; Chrome will download from the Desktop and start installation
