    Default DownloadHelper Plugin for Chrome ?

    Well yeah, I installed Chrome and found it a not bad browser.

    I like it, but in Firefox I had this plugin - http://www.downloadhelper.net/

    I wanna have it in Chrome as well, is it possible? I already tried to download it but it doesn't seem to be working with Chrome. Any suggestions?

    Also, is there (in Chrome) any autofilling features? I'm lazy to type same things over and over, so ya.

    Got it in one. Once you use the DownloadHelper in Firefox you definitely want to take a copy of it with you for use in Chrome.

    Does this mean you figured it out? haha, if so could you give us instructions or something? I used to have firefox and loved it until my sister and mother messed it up (I'm 16, it's ok that my mom is here) so I tested out google chrome and I love it so far. But I really want DownloadHelper or something similar so please, if you know how, let me know how to get it on here, I'd love it

    There are some people who have other download managers that they use on Chrome.

    Because of Chrome's extensions restrictions, this is far from the Firefox VDH extension, but I wrote Flash Video Download, which is stille preliminary and very simple, but allows to download videos from quite a lot of sites, without any external website knowing what you download and from where.

    P.S. My extension was recently booted out of the official Chrome Extension Gallery, so I guess there'll never be any "official" video download extension

    Default Google Chrome / downloadhelper

    When an outstanding plugin has gone this long and not been added to Chrome ... it ain't gonna happen. There has simply got to be major trouble at the Google campus not to jump on that one. Talk about a deal-breaker for using Google Chrome. The boys and girls have lost touch with the internet world.

    lmao, you makes it sound like it's Google's job to port the extension. Which it isn't. The only reason it's not on Chrome is because the makers of DownloadMaker haven't made the Chrome version yet.

    when i got download helper for firefox it was an essential along with adblock, top 5 add-ons kinda thing. why isn't there an equivalent for chrome? the impression is (like above) that it is not supported. intentional or unintentional its a deal-breaker til its made
