Get Flash works with almost all video sites, but for those that it doesn't support, you can just open firefox and download it with downloadhelper, that's what I do.

Use this plugin, it works pretty well on every website I have tried it on. http://www.chromeextensions.org/musi...eo-downloader/

The only thing you need to do is verify the extension of the file then when you click download add the proper extension. When you hover over the link you can see for example a .mp4 extension, so when you are ready to download just add .mp4 to the end of the file after selecting all files from the menu.

I guess, then, we'll have to switch back to Firefox for those downloading moments... and lets face it, Firefox isn't THAT bad.

I'm like many others -- if ever there was a "must have" application / utility that could make or break a product, DownloadHelper is it. Until something of equal or better quality is available for GC, GC is BROKEN, and, much as I dislike some things about Ff these days, GC remains a non-starter in the race. Add to that the easier use of "single file" saving, GC's kludgy corporate approach to extensions, "native" support for Zotero (even Safari is much easier!) and it's the old tortoise and the hare story -- Ff is much faster than it used to be, nowhere near as fast, in some ways, as GC, but when it starts I can simply use it for the things important to me -- can't believe those simple minded reviews putting GC first -- not today, maybe not for many days to come.

Chrome not having a Downloaderhelper-esk plugin or add on is just really bad. I have some less computer-savvy friends all bragging that Chrome is so fast and you can just search in the URL box making is sooo convenient. Judging from this experience alone, I'd have to say Firefox has a huge advantage over Chrome. Not being able to get your favorite movies and other media anytime and at any site is such a slap in the face. I mean, I'm still stunned thinking of how bad this makes Chrome seem. I mean hasn't Chrome been out for like a year or more? I'm just really at a loss for words right now. But I'm sure others can describe the mental AND physical pains I've felt from this experience. Thank you for making this Chrome because I now know in my heart, Firefox was the better choice. I will not be using your services anymore...you have lost my business.
