Default extension system broken in 3.0.192.1, affecting multiple extensions

In case you are wondering why your extensions suddenly stopped working, it is because the latest release (3.0.192.1) has a regression error that broke the extension system. According to StevePaul, extensions like AniWeather, TPGoogleReader and Sticky Notes stopped working. This is confirmed from one Chrome developer. They are working on a fix, but (quote) "it will be a few days and might miss the next dev channel release." (end of quote) In the meantime if you really want to use any extension that is affected, you might need to revert to 3.0.191.3.

Sticky Notes still works for me, can't speak for AniWeather.
TPGoogleReader just needs to update its "page_actions.icon" entry to "page_actions.icons".
Only thing thing that's busted in Sticky Notes is the internal note page but I'll look into it.

They broke the connection system between extensions and content scripts, but hey, it's the dev channel, quite normal.

Hey people it's not all bad news ...

Extensions that don't use the toolstrip seem to work OK ;-)
