I feel pretty stupid, but I just don't know how to get an extension featured on this site on Chrome. I downloaded the .crx file for the Facebook Notifications Extension, but I have no idea how to put it on Chrome from there.

I right-clicked the .crx file and chose to open with Chrome, which then prompted me to install the extension. However, there's no button to click or anything - the extension is acting as if it isn't installed I guess.

Can someone tell me the correct way to install these extensions?

If I remember right this extension never ever worked properly (and the author deserted the site)...

If you want extensions that work properly (well most of them anyway) go to the official Chrome extensions site where you'll find absolutely loads (3700+ at the last count) ...
