    Default No option to install extensions

    I understand that extensions should now be enabled by default in the latest dev channel builds, but when I download any CRX files I don't have the option to install it, only to save it.

    When i double click it after its downloaded it just opens a new instance of chrome.

    I also tried adding "--enable-extensions" but no luck.

    try dragging the crx to Chrome
    What version of Chrome are you running?

    Found the answer here:

    I can't install extensions (build 4.0.213.1)

    I had to uncheck "Ask where to save each file..." in Chrome options. Odd..

    That's stupid..and I thought Chrome Linux was just being buggy. Hope they fix that.
