    Default Plugin's not working, whatever I seem to try?

    Right okay,

    I'm really not too sure where i'm going wrong on trying to install plugins.

    I've followed steps online, and still having no joy. Am I missing something out here & being completely thick?

    I've moved over to the Dev version & updated Chrome;

    I've changed the "Enable Extensions" in my Google Chrome Link

    I've also tried using Waha's (Who I used as a referer to sign up) Manager, but it fails?

    This is the only thing I can think i'm doing wrong, where the download of the crx file actually goes (My Desktop)

    After trying the Gmail Plugin, this happens;

    The Plugin which has downloaded to the desktop is on the left hand side on the above screenshot.

    Any help would be very much appreciated.

    Thanks!

    If you get Access is Denied error on the extension manager, try running from an admin account.

    Or you could right click on Extension Manager and from the popup 'Run as Administrator'
