Where is the plugin directory? I have recently download Free Download Manager that integrates with chrome but it needs the plugin directory which i cannot find. I am using Windows 7 and Chrome 4.0.249.78 Beta 36714
for WinXP, it can be found here
C:\Documents and Settings\user\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\Application\Plugins
I am having an issue also. Can someone please tell me where the plugin files go for Chrome 4.1x when using Windows 7 x64?
Please only answer if you actually know for sure - I have plenty of wrong answers already for previous versions of chrome...
Thanks
For normal Win7 it's in:
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\Plugins
Though I guess I can't really say for certain where it is for 64 bit, but I don't really know why it'd be different.
Just to be sure, this is for binary plugins (ie. DLLs on Windows), not for regular extensions. Chrome also looks in many other directories for plugins if you're looking for a specific one and it's not there. For instance, it looks in the Firefox plugins directory, and the specific install locations for known plugins like Flash.

I think it's called Extensions instead of "plugins". FDM seemed to accept that folder...
