This crx theme creator is based on my simple crx theme tool and have more features.

How To Use:

1. Have a look at the Theme Creation Guide.

2. Use an image editor to create the images(PNG images) needed for the theme.

3. Run crxtheme.exe, choose the images and colors for you theme.(Follow the Theme Creation Guide)

4. Click View Theme button to preview your theme on Chrome.(You need to close all chrome windows first.)

5. Click Pack Theme button to pack your theme. A file named theme.crx will be create in the same folder as crxtheme.exe.

6. Share your theme with us.

It looks pretty complete, nice work.
Just one question, will it let you build a theme if you don't include all images?
Say for example, I don't want to put in a attribution png, can I continue without it?

you need the four basic images: theme_frame, theme_toolbar, theme_tab_background and theme_ntp_background.

comparing the images in one of my json, I find an additional one;
frame_left.png

is it possible for the finished theme to use the name of the theme instead of theme.crx ?

sulasno, I believe frame_left.png is the png for frame_overlay.
