I am running Chrome in DEV mode to create & package themes, how can I start Chrome up now in normal mode to make sure the themes look fine or will they look the same on normal Chrome and Dev?

You can use Chrome Canary build ( http://tools.google.com/dlpage/chromesxs ) to solve your problem. Chrome Canary builds are updated more frequently than even Dev builds, but it specifically installs as a totally separate Chrome installation. That means you can also install a normal Stable Chrome on the same computer. So you can do your development in Canary Chrome, and then immediately test in the normal Stable Chrome.

Otherwise, you do have another computer handy that you can install Stable Chrome onto? :-)

I have installed the Canary build now, I take it I just uninstall the Dev one and install a normal Chrome now?
