    Exclamation Crx Theme

I have version 3.0.195.10 for google chrome.

I downloaded channel changer 2.0 and this is what happenes when I click on the .exe file.

From what I know you cant apply themes to 3.0.193.10 above if it is not in the Dev channel. This problem is what prevents me from changing the channel.

I would very much appreciate any solutions.

    @9026

Don't know where you got your Channel Changer from (might be the reason you're getting the problem) but I know this one works ...

Are you running Portable Chrome? Cause it could be that it can't find the registry key to find the directory, which Portable Chrome doesn't have.

If you are, I suggest you to re-download and install Chrome from Google's site.

    I have uninstalled Google Chrome.
Then downloaded and installed from the link in the last post.
Then tried the channel changer from this topic as well, and the same message appears.

Is it because im using Object Dock to open google chrome?
Maybe, I did not restart the computer after isntalling chrome?
    Or another reason?

Thank you for your solutions and hope one will get rid of this problem!

I clicked the link @ top, and apparently it updated my google chrome to 4.0.206.1.

I still get the same message after clicking on chrome channel changer 2.0.

When I download a theme and double click on it it opens chrome with default theme.

you dont need to use chrome channel changer anymore. i even think it is no longer supported, since there is no link to it here.
as for the themes, do they install from the google gallery?

Yes i get them from google gallery.

I will try the link in your last post.

I again downloaded and isntalled the Dev channel.

I go to the google gallery and click apply theme, downloads and nothing happens.

I go to download folder double click on the theme and chrome opens with default theme.

    o_O

try to add --enable-extensions to your chrome shortcut, like this:
    Code:
    For Vista/Win7
    "C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" --enable-extensions
    Code:
    For XP
    "C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" --enable-extensions

    theme for 2.0.172.43 / 4.0.206.1
