There has been a new released on our forum yesterday.The them is a modification of the Glow Theme for Chrome, just a bit more blacker and darker. The theme is in .crx format and would work on the latest developers and beta builds.

Installation & Support
The theme only works on the latest Dev Builds and Beta Builds of Google Chrome. If you are using Stable version then this theme will not work. You would be needed to download the Chrome Channel Chooser and select the build you want.

….there was a slight problem with bookmark text colour thats been fixed. Just install the theme in the first post to update the theme.
The reason for the update is in the thread.
Very nice indeed, but it is too hard to tell the active tab apart from the inactive ones, especially on a glossy laptop monitor, and with many tabs open. My suggestion would be to make the inactive tabs all black, and the active one a much lighter colour.

I was playing with it tonight and did something thats a bit like what you wanted (the selected tab stands out alot more). I cant put attachments onto this comment so find it here in the forums…..
